OPC2net Fire Recently DomesticSoft introduced a NOTIFIER Fire Panel plug-in for OPC2net. This new plug-in
has been waited for to connect Fire Panels to Building Management Systems (BMS).
"Now both standalone Fire Panels as well as networked multi-panel configurations can be connected to BMS software from all vendors
supporting the OPC standard," says TJ DomesticSofts president. "This is a very advanced plug-in that minimizes load on the Fire
Panel although it can handle more than 50,000 sensors and modules."

office in Denmark DomesticSoft has opened a sales office in Copenhagen, Denmark to better server their Scandinavian
customers. Mr. Sigurdur Jonasson has been appointed as a Regional Sales Manager at the new office.

OPC2net version 2.5 DomesticSoft is currently working on version 2.5 of OPC2net This new version will
include an In Process OPC Server. This OPC Server is integrated into the OPC2net Server Kernel. This new OPC server is meant to
replace the current RemoteOPC Server when running applications locally on the same computer as OPC2net is installed on. Enhanced
thread control is also a part of this new version to better support multi-plug-in configurations.
Next generation of OPC2net DomesticSoft has recently put together a team of engineers to design the
next generation of OPC2net. Among features in this generation is support for the new OPC XML Data Access definition. It will also
include support for third parties to implement their own plug-ins for proprietary hardware. A tool called Plug-in Builder will
greatly simplify this work.
