OPC2net Multiple Network Interfaces via Dial-up or TCP/IP connectivity:
The OPC2net is specifically designed to support applications with multiple locations. 1.) TCP/IP: For applications where the OPC2net Server runs in a central location and connects to multiple remote locations via the Internet with just a simple RS232/IP converter (e.g. www.tibbo.com or eDevice ). License is based on number of connections (Network Interfaces), 1 connection is included in all versions. Dial-up: For applications where the OPC2net Server runs in a central location and connects to remote locations with no PC but just a simple NOTIFIER or PowerBus Network and a modem. Dials automatically via standard wireless or land line modem and accesses the control network at the remote location(s). License is based on number of connections (phone numbers), 1 connection is included in all versions except the NOTIFIER edition. |
